Get Me Out of This 帶我離開這裡 - Ma

1940年出生於南非約翰尼斯堡的Manfred Sepse Lubowitz，父母是立陶宛猶太人。於Witwatersrand大學主修音樂，並在約翰尼斯堡的多個俱樂部擔任爵士鋼琴手。由於強烈反對南非的種族隔離制度，1961年移居英國，藝名為Manfred Mann。因為他積極參與國際反種族隔離運動，1980年代被祖國南非禁止入境。

由他領導的Manfred Mann樂團引起唱片公司的注意，1963年開始灌錄唱片，至1968共發行了七張唱片。1971年他又重組了一個 Manfred Mann's Earth Band，1972~2004共發行了17張專輯。樂團經歷了這麼長的時間，更迭了許多團員，所以歌曲風格也一直在改變。他們最暢銷的歌曲，是1976年翻唱美國歌手Bruce Springsteen的"Blinded by the Light"，於1977年2月在告示牌單曲排行榜上達到第一名。

"Get Me Out of This"取自2004年Manfred Mann's Earth Band最近的一張專輯 "2006"。
