Won't Get Fooled Again不會再被政客愚弄

The Who「何許人」是1964年在倫敦成立的搖滾樂團，最初的陣容包括主唱Roger Daltrey(1944–)、吉他手兼歌手Pete Townshend(1945–)、貝斯手兼歌手John Entwistle(1944–2002)、鼓手Keith Moon(1946–1978)。

Roger Daltrey十五歲時，搞幫派與搖滾樂而被學校開除，成為建築工人。1959年他組成了Detours樂團，在公司活動或婚禮中演出；1964年團名改為The Who。他們在音樂場所的表演引起了唱片公司的興趣，於是在1965發行了第一張專輯唱片，至1983年因為團員意見不合解散時，已發行10張錄音室專輯。

1999年Roger Daltrey與Pete Townshend找了其他樂手，再以The Who的團名巡迴演唱，迴響熱烈；於是2006與2019年又再發行了專輯。

"Won't Get Fooled Again"取自他們的第五張專輯「誰是下一個」Who's Next (1971年)。2021年，此曲被滾石雜誌評選「史上最偉大的500 首歌曲」的第295位。

影集《犯罪現場：邁阿密》CSI: Miami 以其片段當主題曲

數部CSI影集都用The Who的歌作為主題曲，首部CSI用“Who Are You”，CSI:NY用“ Baba O'Riley ”，CSI:Cyber 用“ I Can See For Miles ”。

"Won't Get Fooled Again"在Who's Next專輯上的版本，當時有發行縮短的單曲版本。

這首歌由吉他手Pete Townshend所寫。1972年Townshend在訪談中提到，這首歌是關於，政客們利用愚蠢的群眾進行暴動、抗議、示威，以促進他們在議會選舉中獲勝；然後承諾的改變並沒有到來。日後他也澄清，自己不是反對革命，只是指出那些追隨革命的人，他們的期望會落空。

1989年Townshend接受電台採訪時，承認了自己是雙性戀。由於他曾使用信用卡造訪兒童色情網站，從2003年開始，Townshend被英國警方登記上「性犯罪者名冊」達五年。Townshend聲稱他造訪這些圖像，是為了研究「反對兒童性虐待」的運動，要證明英國銀行從戀童癖團體中獲取利潤，事後當局並沒有在他的電腦上找到定罪證據。
