Something Stupid 蠢話 - 妮可基嫚也會唱歌 @ 懷舊影集

英籍歌手羅比·威廉斯(Robbie Williams, 1974–)在2001年專輯Swing When You're Winning「搖搖領先」中有首"Something Stupid"，特別邀請了澳洲女星妮可基嫚(Nicole Kidman, 1967–)助陣合唱；她在同年的電影《紅磨坊》Moulin Rouge中也親自展露了歌喉。她本來不知道自己是能唱歌的，但導演認為可以，終是妮可基嫚接受了歌唱訓練。

這首單曲於2001年12月14日發行，於英國第一週就賣出了98,506張，馬上在年底就獲得英國每週單曲排行第一名；是羅比·威廉斯演唱生涯的第五首冠軍單曲。並且在澳洲、紐西蘭、歐洲大陸都有很好的銷售成績，但是查不到任何在美國上榜的紀錄。

2012年於義大利Portofino，義籍盲人聲樂家Andrea Bocelli (1958–)與當時女友Veronica Berti(1984–)合唱此曲的義文版本"Qualche Stupido"。(39秒開始)

2014倆人才成婚，Veronica Berti是他的第二任妻子。盲人為什麼需要美麗嫩妻?

2013年加拿大男歌手Michael Bublé(1975–)的重唱版本，收錄在他的第六張專輯"To Be Loved"裏，但是並沒有發行此歌的單曲。此歌的第二部合音很容易?美國女星瑞絲·薇斯朋Reese Witherspoon(1976–)也來參一咖。

這首歌原本收錄在Carson and Gaile的專輯"San Antonio Rose"裏(1966年)，這是C. Carson Parks (1936–2005)與妻子Gaile Foote合作灌錄的唱片；此曲由Carson Parks的弟弟Van Dyke Parks (1943–)寫作。

"San Antonio Rose"是C. Carson Parks的第八張專輯，前七張都是與不同的樂團合作。這也是他的最後一張專輯，日後成立公司發行唱片與替他人寫歌。

Carson and Gaile並未將"Something Stupid"唱紅，但被「瘦皮猴」法蘭克辛納屈(Frank Sinatra,1915–1998)看中，與其女兒南施辛納屈(Nancy Sinatra, 1940–)合唱了此曲，放在1967年辛納屈的專輯"The World We Knew"中；此曲當時曾在告示牌Billboard單曲排行榜蟬聯4週冠軍。
