「男孩與女孩」Boys and Girls(1985)是Roxy Music第一次解散後Bryan Ferry的首張個人專輯，同時是他的第6張個人專輯－ 最成功的一張，在英國專輯排行榜得到過第一名(也是他唯一的一次)，在美國最高到達63名；名次雖然不高，但還算是一張長賣的唱片，在美國的銷售量超過50萬張，得到了金唱片。其中的單曲"Slave to Love"出現在許多電影(最有名的是1986年的【愛你九周半】9½ Weeks)與電視影集中。
Don't Stop the Dance「別停止跳舞」也是選自" Boys and Girls "專輯的單曲，由Bryan Ferry與Rhett Davies共同創作。Don't Stop the Dance單曲唱片的封面:

布萊恩·費瑞(Bryan Ferry, 1945–)出生於英國的華盛頓(英格蘭北方，接近蘇格蘭邊界)；父親是勞工階級，在農場工作。1964–68年他在新堡(Newcastle)大學就讀美術系時，就參加了學生自組的樂團。1968年他到倫敦的學校教導陶器製作，但是並沒有遺忘對音樂的熱愛，此時還曾經組過兩個樂團。
1970年11月他與朋友組成了Roxy Music搖滾樂團，其獨特的樂風獲得了一些樂迷的喜愛。Roxy Music從1972~82年共出了8張錄音室專輯，但是在這段期間內(1973~78年) Bryan Ferry自己也出了5張個人專輯。1982年Bryan Ferry決定追求自己的音樂事業，離開了Roxy Music，樂團也就解散了，大家各奔前程。

Bryan Ferry單飛後由1985至2014共又再出了10張錄音室專輯(連先前者共有15張個人專輯)。2012年的" The Jazz Age "是他個人(銷售上)最不成功的專輯，最高只到達英國專輯排行榜第50名；但是其中一些曲子被導演Baz Luhrmann看中，於是詢問Bryan Ferry可否拿來做為新版【大亨小傳】The Great Gatsby (2013)電影的配樂，結果演進成Bryan Ferry為該電影重新寫了一些配樂。Bryan Ferry也做過演員，在電影【冥王星早餐】Breakfast on Pluto(2005, 小管提供在台上映片名)裏軋了一角。
Roxy Music於2001重組時Bryan Ferry也歸隊了，但是該團只從事現場演唱而沒有出新專輯，Bryan Ferry則是在樂團與自己的音樂路上兩頭兼顧。重組的Roxy Music於2011年再度宣告解散。
1982年Bryan Ferry娶了比自己小14歲的模特兒Lucy Helmore，她幫助Bryan Ferry戒掉了古柯鹼毒癮，然而在1990年代中期Lucy Helmore自己也進入了戒酒戒毒機構。Lucy Helmore與Bryan Ferry總共生了四名男孩， Helmore在2000年代初期有外遇，兩人終於在2003年離婚。Bryan Ferry於2009年開始在財務上支持新女友Amanda Sheppard (她是Bryan Ferry兒子的前女友)，而於2012年1月迎娶了這位比自己小37歲的第二任妻子，然而到2013年8月兩人就仳離了。2010年估計Bryan Ferry的資產有三千萬英鎊。
2012年當時66歲的Bryan Ferry娶了29歲的第二任妻子Amanda Sheppard，這段婚姻只維持了1年7個月。
